christmas party

conor and i attended his work christmas party on friday evening. it was semi-formal. i had to buy an outfit, but felt vindicated by the fact that i wore pants. the mere fact that i had to spend money to attend put me off a bit, and it was maybe the second time we left violet in the care of someone else. but when conor won a $50 gift certificate to The Melting Pot by singing The Chipmunk Song (click link "The Chipmunk Song") i was jumping up and down like a soccer mom. especially when he hit the "huuuuuuula hoooooop" perfectly on pitch (the chipmunk's pitch). it was a good thing i castrated him before we left.

That's awesome! Somehow, I can imagine this happening in my mind's eye. You'll have to post a photo of the two of you in your party outfits. I'll show them to Daisy.

i wanted to, but we'll have to track one down. i didn't have anyone take one with my camera. i doubt they're nearly as cool as any of daisy's party outfits though. although i was wearing pants similar to the famous "crazy pants."

Yes, there is a giant Easter Bunny in "A Christmas Story," and I LOVED the crazy pants!

Apparently the Ralfie deal was a running gag. It was pretty lame.
