it is peach. no bones about it. peach. i've added some inside pictures, per request. i will post a candy limehouse picture too! this one is a bit of a project (the floors need refinishing.) We shall see.
the room that looks red is actually kind of salmon. or coral. something like that. we could always paint the bathroom yellow. at least you can't say it's dull.
Good luck on the VA loan! Wuneye, fixing up cheap rocks!! Of course, give yourself PLENTY of time for projects...that way you don't rush into projects and spend too much.
What is WITH the color scheme. It looks like clowns lived there before, otherwise, very cute. Be very very careful about fixer uppers. Have you seen the the movie, "The Money Pit?" I suggest you watch it.
we have already made several "money pit" references. i'm a big fan of the peach, but we ARE selling in 2 years or so, so its more important that OTHER people like the peach.
foreverdad- thanks for the advice, since i'm sure you know what you're talking about better than all of us whippersnappers. it is in THE location...in fact THE street to make a quick buck in the turn around.
congrats on the house hunting! My wife and I still tour models just for fun (and interior design ideas).
Foreverdad is right on with his suggestion: location is KEY. The only stipulation I would add is to be also conscience of what I call the "value to cost" ratio. A good example is paint (extremely low cost, but high value due to the visual appeal).

CBT took my colour comment! Don't forget to check out the neighbors...you wouldn't want to be near any apiaries!
I kind of like the idea of the project house. I'm all about finding out how cheap I can fix everything.
chiro- well if people would OBEY THE ZONING LAWS...
birdy- candy's not sure if we can VA loan that house. we'll have to see.
