Sweet Decline has tagged me for my first meme.
1. If money were no object, what would you be doing with your life?
Conor, flowerchild, and I would live on a little farm with chickens and goats (of the fainting variety). Conor would build bikes and I would sew baby slings and bags. I would make jelly and bread and sell it in my little shop.
2. Money is just that - an object, so why aren't you doing it?
I think I will.
3. What's better: horses or cows?
I have to say cows. They are very unassuming and sweet. At least my image of the Jersey cow with a bell. Horses think they're better than you. Cocky horses.
4. What do you think the secret to happiness is?
Refer to question 2.
5. When was the last time you had a dream that you either remember well or did not want to awake from? Can you share a bit?
When I was pregnant and keeping on top of sprout's (her name at the time) development, we called her baby-no-ears for awhile because I read that she didn't have ears yet. Then I had a dream that she was born with no ears. We stopped calling her that.
6. When you were a little kid, what did you want to be when you grew up?
A scientist. I didn't know there were different kinds. I dissected things and examined plants. Sadly, I discovered that math and science go hand in hand.
7. Complete this statement: Love is . .
Not as elusive as I once thought.
8. Can you tell a good story? (write one!)
I used to take pride in my writing. I lived for a good grade. Now I live for clean sheets, a sleeping baby, and fresh bread. I don't know if I can write a story anymore.
9. Can you remember your last daydream? What was it about?
Starting a small business selling rockin' baby clothes. I took the plunge and ordered some last week.
10. If you were to thank someone today, who would you thank?
I would thank my dear sweet husband for the following:
encouraging me through nursing craziness.
making me do something about postpartum craziness.
putting up with the silly "I do everything myself" craziness.
marrying me...knowing full well about my craziness.
I tag:
the aforementioned dear sweet husband
chiromum or as spell check prefers chromium
fat little pug
